Hera - Female- Black (CIHAH #11.001)

Hera is an incredibly sweet, affectionate and easy-going cat. She came to us as a foster with four all black kittens that have been adopted. Hera is wonderful around other cats and dogs. She adapts well to any environment, is litter box trained and is a little piggy at feeding time. She's a bit of a flight risk so be sure not to leave any open doors for her to escape out of. She spent her entire life out doors until just a couple months ago. She was an incredible mama cat who doted on her kittens. Now she's looking for a human to give all of her affection to.

Oswald - Male - Orange Tabby (CIHAH #11.005)

The only boy the group, Oswald is quite outgoing, adventurous and curious. He's got extra toes (like the Hemmingway cats) but they don't hinder him in any of his activities. This boy would make an excellent companion to anyone.

Viola - Female - Gray Tabby (CIHAH #11.004)

Viola is another polydactl (extra toes) kitten. She too is a cuddle bug who loves to be held and petted. The extra toes do not make it difficult for her to do all the things her other littermates do. She's quite petite with a healthy appetite and tons of energy.

Rosalind - Female - Gray Tabby (CIHAH #11.003)

Rosalind is a beautiful sweet girl with an extra toe on each front paw that looks like a thumb. She looks like she's walking with mittens on! Hemmingway kept many polydactyl cats just like her. She's incredibly cute and loves to be held and get a chin scratch. Wouldn't you love to take this unique little girl home?

Audrey - Female - Gray Tabby (CIHAH #11.002)

Audrey is a sweet and shy girl. She's littler than the others and loves to cuddle. She inspects everything around her and is quick to warm up to just about anyone.

Claribel - Female - Gray Tabby (CIHAH #11.006)

Claribel is a very sweet chubby faced little girl. She's an orphan and though not from the same litter as the others, she's been a great adopted sister. She's adventurous and loving. Don't you just want to pinch her cheeks?

Hemmingway Kittens

This week we did a foster trade with another foster in the Feline Rescue Association network so she could take on a mother with NINE kittens.

We present to you the Hemmingway Kittens (some of these babies have extra toes!) (separate posts for each to follow)

Diana the Doberman!

Last week we got our 1st doberman to foster!  Shes an older lady with a huge heart and a horrible past. Through all of that, she still has the currage to trust humans, and loves anyone who will give her the time of day and a scratch behind the ear.
